Potter/Libbey Run PRs at 2015 WIAA State
Pierce Libbey ran 9:45.12 for 3200m on Friday evening for 24th place. It was the first time he went sub 10 this season.
Sam Potter finished in 4:23.18 for 1600m on Saturday afternoon. He was 4th in his heat which placed him 15th overall. Congrats to both on a fantastic season!
Tosa East narrowly wins WIAA Regional!
Congratulations to the 2015 WIAA Regional Champion Boys Track and Field team! The boys totaled 140 points to edge Marquette's 139 for the team title!
Winning events for were Sam Potter in the 1600m run and 800m run, Pierce Libbey in the 3200m run, Sam Stelloh in the 300m hurdles, and the 3200m relay team of Nathan Green, Paul Gagne, Marquez Green, and Sam Stelloh.
Advancing to the WIAA Sectional meet by finishing in the top 4 in their event were the following:

The Raiders totaled 40 points on the varsity side to finish 7th in the team standings. Pierce Libbey defended his 2014 3200m run championship with a tactical win in the 2015 3200m run (10:33.37) and teammate Tyler Klein finished 3rd (10:45.95). Sam Potter finished 2nd in the 1600m run (4:48.76) and 5th in the 800m run (2:11.95). Tony Busalacchi finished 5th in the 1600m run with a PR (5:05.03). Also scoring points with 8th place finishes were Jermaine Copeland in the shot put (40' 7"), Ali Sabree in the 55m high hurdles (9.01), and Ryan Kelnhofer in the 55m dash (7.13). The 3200m relay team finished 5th (9:05.96) and the 6-lap relay team finished 6th (2:07.69).
GMC JV Indoor Conference Championships
The Raiders scored 82 points to finish 5th in the team standings. Led by Jack Sveum with a victory in the 3200m run (11:21.10) and a 3rd place finish in the 1600m run (5:04.58) Taysion Crape also scored big points with a 2nd place in the 55m low hurdles (8.96), 3rd place in the 55m high hurdles (9.16) and was a member of the 3rd place 1600m relay team (Mark Michna, Eli Werner, Crape, and Joe Paetsch). Paetsch, Matt Richards, Sam Minix, and Matt Doberstein placed 2nd in the 3200m relay (9:42.98). Matthew Maijala placed 3rd in the 200m dash (27.07) and the 6-lap relay team of Maliek Johnson-Payne, Joe Tuffnell, Adam Schell, and Ben Tarrence placed 3rd (2:18.17)
